Who’s who at UniTrak

Today marks the annual BBQ at UniTrak, a time when we take a moment to enjoy a summer afternoon together. We also thought it would be a good time to introduce you to some of the people at UniTrak who you might meet at a tradeshow, interact with via email and by phone.

Ted Gorsline – VP of Operations

Ted is a recent member of the UniTrak team and lends his highly organized background to the production side at UniTrak.

He reports to the management on how production is progressing and works with Finance, Engineering and Logistics to ensure that the customer gets their units in tip-top shape, on time, and on budget.

As a member of the Management Team, Ted is constantly looking for ways that UniTrak can be more efficient and Lean.

Bill Gorsline – President

Bill is the founding voice that helps to steer the UniTrak vision. He is an active member of the Sales Team that often gets called on for the really tough sales applications. His experience is second to none and advises on all aspects of the business.

Bill can be seen at tradeshows, accepting awards and penning articles for industry publications.

As a member of the Management Team, Bill provides guidance and leads UniTrak towards future success.

Ivan Patton – Foreman

Ivan is our man on the shop floor. He works with Ted in Operations and Engineering to ensure that his team builds your conveyor to spec and as fast as possible.

Ivan has been a part of the UniTrak team for over 40 years and his experience has been vital to UniTrak’s success.

Ivan makes things happen on the shop floor – if we need it done right the first time, Ivan is our guy.

James Bransfield – Engineering Team Leader

James has been a part of the UniTrak Engineering Team for 20 years, and is our go-to problem-solver when it comes to all conveying applications. James prepares the initial drawings for our customers and continues with them through the approval process until their conveyors are into production.

James also oversees all design work, equipment updates and tests of materials in our UniTrak Test Lab. If you have material that you would like to send to us for testing, it will be James that who follow up with you.

Julie Shipp – Sales Manager USA

Julie manages all of our US customers and oversees our US manufacturers’ rep network. She collaborates with the Canadian head office to come up with the best solutions for customer’s conveying applications.

She has over 25 years experience in bulk material handling industry and is our resident expert when it comes to knowledge about our UniFlex flexible screw conveyors.

Marie Lytle – Marketing Team Leader

This is Marie’s 36th year with UniTrak. In addition to overseeing all marketing initiatives at UniTrak, Marie is also works with the Sales Team in preparing quotations.

She works with all US, Canadian and international sales reps and their managers to review, prepare and distribute these to our customers.

You will also see Marie setting up for tradeshows, manning the booth and often dismantle as well. She also is an active member in our industry associations. She is currently sitting on the PEMA Membership Committee for 2016.

Neil Sharma – Comptroller

Neil started at UniTrak in October 2015 and handles UniTrak’s finances. He works closely with the other members of his team, as well as Production and Operations to ensure that we are on track financially.

Neil often answers tough pricing questions for us when we are scoping out custom work. He “crunches” the numbers that we present to customers.

Emma Gorsline – VP of Sales & Marketing

Emma has been working at UniTrak since 2003. She currently in charge of all Sales & Marketing at UniTrak. She is actively investigates new markets for UniTrak and new products to be added to our lines. She coordinates all the sales managers and is on the UniTrak Management Team.

Emma knows TipTrak. From food to fertilizer, Emma has seen a breadth of applications and can steer customers to the best conveyor for their requirements.

Emma is busy at tradeshows, talking to customers, touching base with sales managers and helping to set the direction at UniTrak.

John McDonald – Service Team Leader

As Service Team Leader, John is the face of UniTrak in the field. Often John is the first person that a customer will see if they require service on conveyors. He liaises with our Spare Parts Department and helps get customers what they need in order to get back up and running.

In addition to this, he follows up with customers after they have installed a unit to ensure that it is running properly and that the customer is satisfied. If you have a question about maintenance on our conveyors, John is the right one to contact!

Aimee Tedford – Sales & Marketing Associate

Aimee manages UniTrak’s digital footprint. She produces the Keeping Trak Rep Newsletter and works with the marketing team to execute content and updates for the website. Aimee is responsible for UniTrak’s social media side, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Aimee helps to coordinate sales collaterals which include cut sheets, brochures, videos and powerpoints. Additionally, Aimee supports Marie at tradeshows, in quotation preparation, sales support and in media planning.
